The underlying objective of this study is to identify the factors that influence freshmen students' decision to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology as a college degree. The researchers want to know how these various factors shaped every BSIT Freshman's decision to delve into Information Technology at Cagayan State University-Aparri Campus. The data from the respondents was collected and analyzed using the random sampling technique, yielding a total of 186 BSIT 1st-year students

Determinants of Track Preferences of Third-year Information Technology Students

The main focus of this study is on the factors that influence Information Technology thirdyear students' decisions regarding their desired track. The descriptive method was combined with comparative techniques and correlation analysis. The researchers treated the surveyed data, which was collected in one week via a survey questionnaire, by performing frequency counts, means and percentage computations, and analysis. Through simple random sampling, the research participants in this study are all third-year students at Cagayan State University Aparri Campus in the academic year 2022-2023.
